But he says, hey, since I can’t control the fact that the economy went to hell, a contract clause says I don’t have to pay:

ATLANTIC CITY – Claiming they haven’t received a penny in three years, a group of former Trump casino shareholders is demanding immediate payment of $4.1 million from a bankruptcy settlement between the gaming company and stock investors.

The 17 shareholders filed a motion Monday asking the U.S. Bankruptcy Court to liquidate the three Trump casinos if they don’t get paid within five days.

The lenders on Donald Trump’s downtown high-rise are continuing to finance construction of the 92-story tower even as they argue with the developer over an overdue loan on the project.

Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas advanced $13.2 million to the developer on Monday, one of a series of monthly draws on the project’s $640-million construction loan, says Steven Schlesinger, an attorney representing Mr. Trump. Though such draws are usually routine transactions, Mr. Trump’s dispute with a Deutsche Bank lending syndicate raised concerns that further funding for the Trump International Hotel & Tower might be in jeopardy.

To je stara fora sa kreditima. Sirotinjski kreditići ako se ne vrate odmah te stave doživotno na crne liste ali… Ali ako si digao milijunske kredite i dužan si desetke ili čak stotine milijuna onda te boli patka… dižeš kredit na kredit kao što banka stvara novac na kredit… na kredit … na kredit… sve dok stvar … eh… ali to upravo gledamo. :-)
