The German telecommunications regulator BNA has ended a regulatory procedure against Deutsche Telekom for abusing its market power on the market for local loop unbundling (LLU). The procedure was launched because Deutsche Telekom continues delaying LLU requests from its competitors, for which the operator was already warned at the end of 2007. As Deutsche Telekom has voluntary taken measures to improve the situation and send a voluntary obligation statement to the regulator, BNA could end the procedure. The statement includes the admission of delaying LLU connections for competitors and the promise that Deutsche Telekom will end its discriminatory actions immediately. In addition, DeTe’s order processing will be adapted so that the LLU order deadlines can be made available to competitors and the BNA will be kept appraised by DeTe of the LLU demand and supply situation during the coming 18 months.

DT napada Telekom Srbije
