Deutsche Telekom looks for new chairman
The latest issue of the Spiegel news magazine claims that Deutsche Telekom is looking for a new chairman. Although the current chairman of the supervisory board, Klaus Zumwinkel, has not confirmed whether or not he wants to renew his tenure, the Spiegel reports that a scramble for the top job is already taking place behind closed doors. One of the reasons, says the article, is that Zumwinkel’s management style is considered too lax by owners such as investment company Blackstone, one of the largest shareholders of Deutsche Telekom.
